Jeff Lynne’s ELO rocks the hydro

The legendary guitarist and songwriter Jeff Lynne founder of the “Electric Light Orchestra” gave an outstanding performance with his band to the sell-out crowd in the hydro in Glasgow.

The legendary Jeff Lynne age 70 and his band the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) have been around for nearly 5 decades. ELO’s beginnings started back in 1970 when Jeff Lynne was offered to join a band with Roy Wood and Bev Bevan called The Move, which then turned into ELO and in 1972 after Roy Wood’s Departure Jeff Lynne became the bands primary songwriter and driving force.
The band have sold over 50 million records across the globe, had twenty Top 20 songs on the UK Singles Chart, and fifteen Top 20 songs on the US Billboard Hot 100.

And in 2017 were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Despite their age they are still going strong and going as good as ever so go check them out and if you are lucky enough to get tickets make sure you go see them, you won’t be disappointed.
