Fantastic gig at the Glasgow Art School on Saturday 23rd with the young Paisley band who played alongside Weatherston and Eleanor Kane.

The young Indie Punk band started when two school friends decided to participate in the Behind the Noise project (just like a certain someone who you may know from this website).
Sam Cameron (singer and rhythm guitarist) and Josh Gilchrist (bassist) participated in Behind the Noise as Fantom Rats along with other students from Johnstone High in 2017.
Around this time, Sam started releasing tracks on Soundcloud under the name “Ghostbaby” just for his own enjoyment. Soon John McGovern (lead guitarist) was in another band through Behind the Noise named “Glue” heard Sam’s Tracks and liked what he heard, He contacted Sam and asked if they wanted to start a band.
The band was now only short of a drummer, Sam and his younger cousin, Joe Cameron, had always jammed and played together so he was asked to join. Once he did the bands’ line-up was now cemented with Sam on Vocals and Rhythm Guitar, John on Lead Guitar, Josh on Bass and Joe on Drums.
They have played venues such as King Tuts, Broadcast, The Garage, Nice N Sleazy and Record Factory just to name a few. Their Single God and Drugs was released on the 19th of March 2019 with their tracks God and Drugs and Westside, with Westside being my favourite of the two, so make sure to check them out and follow them on Instagram : @ghostbabybabyghost
